This is the day the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

:)

So, many people are starting blogs or updating them regularly and it made me think hmmmm, I have a blog. So I am excited to keep it updated so all our family and friends can follow along and know how we are doling. And I am also feeling technically savvy as well. I figured out how to upload and make posts from cell phone! Oh, yeah.... for those of you know me know that this quite a feat for me.

Update!

An update is LONG over due :)

Well, things at this Sills' household is buzzing. The little girls have started school, and the older girls will start on Tuesday! Everybody is excited to start and things believe it or not are going smoothly with 5 kids that seem like they are all going 5 different directions.

Jason is doing well busy with work and all that entails. I am still homeschooling the 3 older girls and gearing up to have a 5th grader, 4th grader and a 2nd grader. Man how times flies. Taylor will be 11 soon! Taylor will be getting braces on Wednesday her poor teeth are not cooperating with her. Jordynn has been good. The poor girl has been hurt a good portion of the last 6 months. She had a boot on her foot for about 6-8weeks in May/June and then the end of July she fell off a swing set and hurt her thumb and was in a hard splint for about 2 weeks. I joke that we shouldn't let her outside without a bubble. Madison is doing great! She has lost her two front teeth. Yep, she's at that stage where your teeth are falling out faster than they can come in and the ones that are coming in are WAY to big for her mouth! Gotta love it :)

All in all we are doing GREAT!

The Sills + 2= 1 daddy, 1 mommy and 5 little girls :)

So, funny experience happened today.......
So, of course I had to share........

Jc went to the store for ice cream and came home with supplies for ice cream cones. Well, my girls were very excited and the 2 little girls staying with us were as well! Only one little problem the 2 little girls have never had ice cream cones! So, when Jc was asking them what flavor of ice cream they wanted they were very torn... deciding between ice cream or the cone. When Jc told them they could have both ice cream and the cone excitement erupted. They got their cones filled with ice cream and headed outside. Well, as they ate their ice cream the were concerned once again with what to do with the cones when they were done :) When we told them they could eat the cones as well, once again, excitement overcame them. :)

Just goes to teach us that the simple things in life that we take for granted others have never experienced. We have so enjoyed having these precious little girls staying with us. They have really helped to bring joy and FUN to the house.

Addition

Hello,
We are still around :) Life has just been busy! Jc is busy at work, the girls keep us going strong, and I am busy with preschool and keeping up with the family...

Plus, we have 2 new kids in the house! A little girl and a baby boy! It has been a fun adventure thus far. You always hear horror stories about foster parenting, I have none yet other than the fact we got licensed on a Monday and we had 3 kids in our house on the following Friday! They aren't playing around... I can't give you details about the kids or their story because of confidentiality. But they are CUTE!

Love you all..
Andrea

Life :)

We are still alive! Life sure has it's way of getting busy, and it doesn't seem like it will be slowing down for awhile. We have started out PRIDE classes and are very excited to be getting closer and closer to being licensed foster parents. I don't have alot to update you on now...but I'm sure we will soon... :)

Blessings,
Andrea
